Sometimes we feel that we need to obliterate our grief, anxiety, jealousy, or other not-so-fun feelings. It’s understandable—these feelings cause pain to ourselves and others. 

But, in trying to beat ourselves into submission, we run away from the goodness and peace that is always within us.
